After some time, the basic structure of Grandpa and Grandma's new house was completed.
The original framework of the house was largely untouched. After all, it was an old house, and since there was no talk of a ceiling, the renovation was relatively easier, requiring less demolition.
As for the decoration, it was much simpler. Both the main hall and the bedrooms had floor tiles laid over the previously uneven cement floors, making everything look much brighter.
With the ceiling done, beautiful ceiling lights were installed. Once turned on, they lit up the whole house.
The old pit latrine had been dismantled since Grandpa and Grandma no longer farmed, and didn't need the manure. Filling it in was a quicker solution.
