Regarding the contract signed between Udi and Victor, both sides tacitly refrained from signing an ally contract or a ceasefire agreement.
Victor's thoughts were of no concern to Udi.
After all, Udi had already decided that the Barbarian Royal Court would either submit or be destroyed, so it was naturally impossible to sign any ceasefire or ally contract with Victor.
As for setting up the Beastman Sword Saint, Udi never believed Victor would obediently hand over the legendary greatsword named 'Bloodthirst' after the Beastman Sword Saint's death. Neither side had signed any contract regarding this, nor could they, as it would violate the contract between Victor and the Beastman Sword Saint.
Udi agreed for two reasons.
One was to buy some time.
Currently, he had no confidence in capturing the Barbarian King, but that might not be the case after some time.
The second reason was his interest in the Beastman Kingdom.
