Adrian Shaw's way of kissing was a bit domineering, forcefully taking over all her senses.
Serena Stanton even forgot how to breathe, and soon she was out of air. When he finally released her, her brows and eyes were hazy, and her gaze was glazed with a layer of mist.
Adrian rested his forehead against hers, his thumb gently brushing her lips, now shimmering from his kiss. His eyes blazed, never looking away from her.
"Forget what happened just now, alright?"
Understanding he was referring to the earlier, heart-stopping incident, Serena's heart quivered. She nodded: "Alright."
Just then, her phone rang.
Adrian let her go, calmly answering the call.
Whoever was on the line said something, but Adrian's expression remained nonchalant, his tone relaxed: "Let's skip the midnight snack, I'm busy tonight. I'll join you for breakfast tomorrow morning instead."
