Serena Stanton instinctively turned her head to glance at the speaker, then just as casually drew her gaze away.
The elevator arrived at the floor, and the doors slid open to either side. Inside stood two official employees wearing work badges.
Serena and Luna Quinn, along with their group, entered the elevator and headed to the cafeteria for lunch. The cafeteria was clean and pleasant, with professionals dining in an orderly fashion one after another.
Serena didn't have much of an appetite. She absentmindedly picked at her food for a bit, then stopped eating altogether. Sitting on her chair, she took out her phone and scrolled through it aimlessly.
"You're eating so little?" Luna sat across from Serena, studying her expression. "In a bad mood?"
"No, I just ate too much this morning. I'm not hungry now." Serena glanced at Luna's tray. The latter was meticulously picking out all the green onions and garlic from her dish.
