"It's all a misunderstanding."
Jiang Cheng chuckled.
"A misunderstanding? If I killed you and said it was a misunderstanding, would that fly? This is the first time I've seen someone pick up something and put it on themselves."
"Stop feeding me nonsense, I won't believe it."
Jiang Cheng stopped Yang Guilan's mother from speaking and directly stepped aside for the two police officers behind her.
"I am the complainant here. It's not my job to gather evidence or seek the truth, and these kids who are witnesses are exactly who I'm reporting to the police. They're accomplices in bullying Shen Yue."
The surrounding parents instantly became displeased.
"Are you out of your mind?"
"This isn't a big enough deal to call the police!"
"Isn't this a waste of police resources?"
"What are adults getting involved in kids' matters for?"
Jiang Cheng stood calmly, waiting for the parents to finish before she spoke.
