Jiang Cheng walked away with a bowl of wine and joined the table of old farmers eating and drinking. She was once again that person who could chat from the fields to the negotiation table.
After a few rounds of drinks, Jiang Cheng, not the least bit tipsy, saw off each of the older men who had overindulged.
After most people had left, Uncle Zhang came over.
Jiang Cheng instantly became the obedient junior, respectfully looking at Uncle Zhang and asking, "Did you not drink?"
"No, I didn't. If everyone drinks too much, who's going to take care of things?"
Jiang Cheng immediately praised him with a thumbs-up, saying, "It has to be my Uncle Zhang looking at the bigger picture, thinking things through thoroughly."
Uncle Zhang waved his hand knowingly and said, "Come on now, don't try to flatter me too much."
"I can't let that happen, I have to make my Uncle Zhang happy."
Jiang Cheng's words made Uncle Zhang laugh, but he worriedly asked, "Drinking that much, are you okay?"
