Quinn Morgan met her clear eyes, feeling guilty and turning her head away, barking with false bravado, "Stop talking nonsense. Mia is smart and sensible, she's the most reasonable. She wouldn't make up stuff."
"Since Matron thinks she's so wonderful, why don't you take her as your daughter?"
Luna Sutton looked at her, coldly.
Quinn Morgan was left speechless, her face ugly.
She desperately wanted to say, Mia is already her daughter.
But if she really said it out loud, Lyle Sutton would be the first not to let her off.
She glared at Luna, humiliated and furious, "Don't change the subject. I'm asking you—did you bully Mia again today?"
Luna almost laughed out of anger.
This old hag is so biased, it's ridiculous.
Whatever Mia says, she believes without checking.
If she loves Mia so much, let Mia be her daughter then.
"Yeah, I bullied her. So what, Matron? Are you planning to beat me up like before?"
She stared at Quinn Morgan, half-smiling, half not.
