Lyle Sutton noticed his own messy eating, and his old face flushed a bit. He awkwardly set down his stone tray and gave a little cough to cover for himself.
He looked at Luna, his gaze much gentler, and started complimenting: "Luna, the food you made was delicious, you really surprised your dad."
This daughter of his used to be both lazy and gluttonous, but in just the past few days, she had changed so much that he could hardly believe she was his kid.
Luna smiled faintly. "As long as Dad likes it, I'll often cook for you from now on if I have time."
She paused, then asked probingly, "Dad, what do you think of Mia?"
Lyle's brows quirked when she brought up Mia, and he looked at her, assuming Mia had bullied her and she was here to complain.
