"Okay." Damian Sinclair lifted the covers and got into bed, leaning against the headboard and grabbing a thick hardcover book from the nearby small bookshelf to read.
Bella Acker dialed Sandra Woods again, and this time, she answered even faster.
Sandra Woods on the other end asked, "So, is your boyfriend coming?"
"We have something to take care of early tomorrow, so he can't." Bella Acker replied, "He said he'll invite you to dinner next time."
"That's fine too," Sandra Woods said. "Let's meet next time when we both get back to Creston from the set."
"Okay, have fun. I'm going to sleep now. Bye-bye." Hanging up the phone, Bella Acker clumsily burrowed into the covers from the other end of the bed, inching her way up to Damian Sinclair's lap, then to his belly and chest.
