Bella pursed her lips, a bit annoyed with her habit of becoming tongue-tied whenever she saw Damian.
She silently sighed, thinking that Damian might turn around and leave.

Bella intended to tell him to leave if he was busy, but before she could finish her sentence, Damian silently walked to the side, took off his coat, rolled up his sleeves, and grabbed a handkerchief to start wiping the bamboo poles where the clothes would be hung.
Bella quickly swallowed back the words she was about to say.
If he was willing to stay, she wouldn't urge him to leave.
