Damian held the doll and asked her, "Why?"
Bella Acker replied earnestly, "Because if every time a crew wraps up, I give a doll like this as a memento, I can eventually give them all to you. That way, you'll own every role I've ever played."
She spoke unintentionally, but he listened intently.
Damian had originally planned to start the car, but suddenly paused and stopped.
"Sweetheart, are you confessing to me, hoping I receive every version of you?" Damian tilted his head and raised an eyebrow at her.
She initially just thought that giving the character dolls she once played to Damian was very meaningful, without considering any deeper significance.
But hearing Damian say it like that now, it did seem to carry a layer of that meaning.
Bella's face turned bright red, and she stubbornly said, "You're so thoughtful, I... I didn't think that far!"
"Really?" Damian suddenly leaned in closer, and when he spoke, his breath was warm and ticklish against her neck.
