Aunt Sienna seemed a bit anxious; she knew her own health issues and if they went to the hospital for a check-up, she doubted she'd be able to come back.
But she couldn't make it too obvious, or Bella would definitely get suspicious.
"Alright, a check-up might be good," Aunt Sienna nodded, "But it's too cold now, I don't feel like moving. Let's wait until it warms up a bit, we'll go next time you come back when you're on leave, okay? It's inconvenient with all these layers."
Seeing her insistence, Bella had to nod, fearing any more words might upset her, "Alright, we'll settle it this time. Next time I'm back on leave, we'll go for the hospital check-up; it can't be delayed anymore."
"Okay, okay, I'll do as you say," Aunt Sienna laughed, "I can't tell who the adult is here and who's the child."
"Big kid, little kid, aren't you just being a kid now?" Bella laughed too, casually asking the little one beside them, "Ethan, do you think Bella is right?"
