Bella Acker tilted her head in confusion and saw a woman dressed in a beige coat, wearing delicate makeup, stepping out from the booth with a soft smile, "Hello, do you remember me?"
How could she not! She was the middle-aged woman who looked very much like her mother, Laura Locke.
She thought they would never meet again, but unexpectedly, they bumped into each other here.
Bella Acker nodded, "Of course I remember, are you alone?"
"And Bonnie," the middle-aged woman smiled, "Are you alone?"
"Yeah, my friend just left for something." Inside the booth, Bonnie sneaked a peek at the person, and Bella Acker waved to him with a smile.
Bonnie didn't know whether he was scared or shy, and quickly withdrew.
The middle-aged woman said, "Since you're alone too, why not join us? I wanted to apologize to you that day."
"It's nothing." Bella Acker shook her head.
The middle-aged woman said, "Then shall we sit together?"
