Bella Acker smiled and shook her head, easing the awkwardness, "He runs his own business, not working outside."
"Oh, I see." Aunt Rhodes smiled and smoothly changed the topic, "Bella, have you had lunch yet? Why don't we go out for a bite together?"
"I've already eaten, Aunt Rhodes. Haven't you and Bonnie had lunch yet?"
"No." Aunt Rhodes nodded, "We were supposed to wait for Bonnie's dad... to have lunch together, but he said work isn't finished yet." She abruptly changed her wording for Bonnie's dad.
"Then you guys should go eat quickly, don't let Bonnie go hungry."
Beside them, Bonnie heard Bella Acker mention her and looked up, saying, "Bonnie's not hungry."
"I just gave him a vanilla cake." Aunt Rhodes laughed.
Bella Acker laughed as well, "Then Bonnie, make sure to tell us if you get hungry."
"Okay." Bonnie nodded and continued playing with his Ultraman.
