Bella Acker tiptoed at the entrance to reach the fluffy slippers on top of the shoe cabinet. She jumped for a while but couldn't reach them. "Putting them so high is just bullying."
"Little girl," Damian teased in a low voice near her ear, effortlessly reaching up to get the fluffy slippers and placing them on the ground.
Warm breath enveloped her ear, and Bella's face turned red as she hunched her shoulders, putting on the fluffy slippers. "I don't want to wear shoes; I'll just go out in these fluffy slippers."
"Okay." Damian put on a pair of casual shoes and said, "We're just walking around the neighborhood, not going out."
"Huh? Not going out?" Bella tilted her head to look at him. She thought, if they're not going out, then she really can't have ice cream.
