Bella Acker intentionally said those words to tease him, watching his expression as she spoke.
Damian Sinclair turned his head to look at her, and the ice on his face finally softened a bit. He said, "In the future, if I'm not by your side and you encounter a situation like this, don't worry about anything else. Protect yourself first and leave the rest to me."
"Yes. I promise I won't hurt myself and make you worry again." Bella Acker nodded earnestly in agreement.
"Silly girl." Damian took her hand, looking at the scratches on the back of it made by branches, his eyes growing colder.
Bella feared he would be angry again, quickly comforting him, "Damian, I'm really fine. These are just small cuts; they don't hurt."
Damian sighed, "Sometimes I really wish you were the kind of woman who only cares about fame and fortune."
