Bella Acker gently rubbed Ethan's head and took his small hand.
The child leaned against her, his perpetually stern face finally relaxing, and soon he fell asleep by her side.
Only then did Bella Acker quietly ask, "Sunny, what's wrong with Ethan?"
"He saw that you were gone for so long and hadn't come back, he wanted to find you but I didn't let him get out of the car." Sunny, feeling a bit embarrassed, scratched his nose, "I might have scared him, sorry."
"It's not your fault." Bella Acker shook her head, tenderly brushing back the hair stuck to the child's forehead, saying, "Children who grow up in the orphanage all lack a sense of security, he's just afraid that I'd abandon him."
