The lighting in the entire private room was quite dim. His eyes were deep, and Bella Acker couldn't quite see what emotions lay within them.
Seeing her unmoving, Damian Sinclair said, "Ms. Acker, don't you know that not speaking clearly can make people uncomfortable?"
She hadn't noticed before that he was such a curious person.
Bella Acker silently noted this to herself, pursed her lips, and gathered her thoughts for quite a while before supporting herself on the sofa with her hand, leaning her upper body slightly towards him, and said louder, "President Sinclair, thank you for helping me earlier."
Damian Sinclair turned his head, raising an eyebrow at her, "Ms. Acker, when you thank someone, is it just something you say verbally?"
Bella Acker was taken aback by his words and looked at him in confusion.
Their eyes met, but under the dim light, they couldn't really see each other's gaze clearly.
