"Yeah." Damian Sinclair lifted his eyelids and glanced at her, saying, "Stop skewering things."
"But... but isn't it a bit inappropriate to recognize a daughter before getting married? And she's my daughter; aren't you afraid your family will oppose it?" Bella Acker asked.
"What does recognizing a daughter have to do with their opposition?" Damian Sinclair replied, "Even if I marry you now, they wouldn't oppose."
"Why..." Bella instinctively blurted out, nearly asking why, but she quickly held back, giving a faint smile, "Mr. Sinclair really knows how to joke."
"I'm not joking." Damian Sinclair looked at her seriously and said, "My mom has come around."
Meeting his serious gaze, Bella was taken aback, nervously averting her eyes and softly said, "That has nothing to do with me." After saying this, she didn't wait for Damian to say anything more and quickly walked over to Director Ford's side to help with the barbeque.
