Bella turned her head to look at Damian, her brows gradually furrowing.
Could Damian have arranged for someone to secretly monitor her?
Since she accidentally let it slip, there was no point in hiding it anymore.
Damian looked ahead and said, "I'm an investor in 'I Will Not Be a Concubine'."
Bella was taken aback, "So Director Rowe cast me as the lead actress because you put in a word?"
"No," Damian said. "It's because he originally wanted you for the lead role that I decided to invest."
Although the order of events was reversed, it didn't seem to make much difference, right?
Director Rowe originally just considered her for the lead role, but he was still hesitating. The decision was made entirely because of Damian's investment.
