The little girl looked up with her exquisitely carved, doll-like face, her round eyes filled with expectation.
Damian Sinclair looked at her, and his frustration eased quite a bit. He reached out to tuck her hair behind her ear and said, "Daddy is not mad at Mommy."
"Really?" The little girl blinked her eyes.
"Really, Daddy wouldn't lie to Talia." Damian nodded.
Upon hearing this, the little girl glanced back at Bella Acker, her eyes immediately brightened, "Daddy, if you're really not mad at Mommy, then give her a kiss."
Bella Acker's body tensed. Was the little darling helping her or Damian Sinclair?
The little girl shook Damian Sinclair's arm, looking pitifully, "Daddy, you really are mad at Mommy." As she spoke, her big eyes were already filling with tears.
"That's not the case." Damian Sinclair gently ruffled the girl's hair and turned to look at Bella Acker.
Bella Acker felt somewhat embarrassed and looked away.
"Mommy..." The little girl called out to her pitifully.
