Bella Acker turned the photo album as instructed, and on the first page was a woman wearing a long white dress, holding a bouquet of wildflowers, with her hair styled in two braided pigtails.
The photography techniques back then weren't very advanced, so the portraits weren't very clear, but it was evident that the woman's facial features were very pretty, likely a great beauty.
The photo was yellowed and had white spots and bubbles. Even with modern restoration techniques, it looked very old.
"She's so beautiful," Bella Acker sincerely admired.
"Yes, isn't she?" The old man's expression showed a hint of pride, "Your grandmother was always a great beauty, it's just a pity there aren't more pictures of her when she was younger. Let me tell you, your grandmother was once a leading lady in The Grant Family, a descendant of the Imperial Yellow Banner."
"Really?" Bella Acker looked up in surprise.
