Watching the old man's ingratiating look, Bella Acker found it both amusing and heartwarming.
"Old man, you don't have to be so good to me," Bella Acker said with a slight smile.
"That won't do. You're the only granddaughter-in-law that this old man acknowledges. Who else should I be good to if not you?" The old man said very seriously: "Besides being good to you, I also have to be good to Talia. Previously, I hid my identity and didn't give Talia a proper meeting gift. Next time we meet, I must make it up to her. If it really doesn't work out, I'll just give Talia a black card so she can buy whatever she wants."
The more the old man spoke, the more enthusiastic he became. It seemed that if a black card wasn't enough, he would issue a check instead.
Bella Acker felt that the way he spoiled Talia was very familiar; it was no different from how Damian Sinclair spoiled Talia.
Buy anything she wants, how spoiled would Talia become?
