The light from the white round ceiling lamp in the living room is soft, and the window is half-open!
When the door was opened, a cool breeze blew in.
"Not too drunk, are you?" Mu Nanshu asked gently.
"I always know my limits. It wasn't a local get-together, so you don't have to worry about me getting wasted."
Lu Cheng shook his head, "If it were those old buddies from the Long County People's Hospital, I'd be done for today."
Lu Cheng's alcohol tolerance isn't considered high in Xiangzhou.
Definitely not better than some heavy drinkers.
But in fact, in the surgical field, there are many who enjoy drinking, yet not many who can really hold their liquor.
It's just a bad habit picked up from being too tired and busy in their free time.
After speaking, Lu Cheng made a hush gesture: "Good evening, Dr. Cao."
Mu Nanshu helped Lu Cheng put away his shoes, then walked alongside him towards the sofa.
Lu Cheng turned on his phone's speaker: "It's Xiao Lu, the call got through."
