"I..." Evelyn stammered, "I want..."
Caden Lockwood raised an eyebrow, waiting for Evelyn to continue speaking.
"Well..." Evelyn clenched her fists tightly, mustering the courage to speak, "I now realize we haven't actually had a relationship, so sharing the same bed feels inappropriate. Therefore, I'll sleep in the guest room instead?"
Upon hearing Evelyn's words, Caden's eyebrows furrowed slightly.
Looking at her, there was a flash of deep displeasure in his eyes.
"What if I don't allow it?" Caden said coldly.
"Why?" Evelyn panicked, "We're clearly..."
"You've been sleeping with me for so long, and now, suddenly, just because you've discovered something, you want to sleep separately—that's not a suitable reason." Caden's tone was calm, yet his presence was enough to completely shatter Evelyn's thoughts.
"Some mistakes need to be corrected promptly!" Evelyn rolled her eyes, "How can you continue a mistake once you realize it?"
