Listening to Evelyn's question, Caden Lockwood looked up, gazed at Evelyn, and nodded.
Then, he very solemnly and firmly said, "I definitely will!"
Evelyn curved her lips, a joyful smile appeared on her face, and something deep flickered in her eyes as her fists unconsciously clenched.
With a sigh of relief, she handed the popcorn to Caden, saying ingratiatingly, "Here, have some!"
"I bought this." Caden rolled his eyes, "Using something I bought to do me a favor?"
Even though he said that, he still took a piece of popcorn and ate it with relish.
