James Lockwood looked at Evelyn Morgan; the two gazed at each other, and Evelyn's aura didn't lose out to James at all.
James frowned, speaking first: "Make sure to keep in touch with Ms. Susan Stone when you can." He spoke in an instructive tone.
"Is that right?" Evelyn's eyes sparkled, "Actually, you also think I'm incredibly lucky, don't you?"
Seeing Evelyn's barely contained laughter, James appeared quite surprised.
"I also find it quite amazing! But, I feel awkward showing it too openly, after all, surely everyone is envious of my luck, right?" Evelyn's tone was conversational.
"..."
"It's simply unbelievable! Hahaha—I still feel like I'm dreaming! If I had such luck every time, I'd definitely be taken to every banquet; even if I didn't want to go, I'd be forced to!" Evelyn laughed.
James awkwardly curled his lip, unable to accept Evelyn's self-indulgent demeanor.
"I can't believe I unintentionally closed such a huge deal!" Evelyn's joy was palpable, "So dreamy!"
