"Why should I help you hand it over?" Evelyn didn't have a pleasant tone.
"Are you sure you want me to return it myself?" Shannon raised an eyebrow, "After I rejected Logan, he's been persistent about me accepting this bracelet and giving him a hug. You should know how important I am to him, right?"
Before Evelyn could speak, Shannon continued, "If you want him to be hurt more thoroughly, so you can take advantage of his sadness and make him fall in love with you, I'm willing to help you with that."
With that, Shannon turned and left.
Watching Shannon's back, Evelyn clenched her fists, a surge of anger raging in her chest.
She couldn't help but imagine Shannon rejecting Logan, picturing Logan utterly heartbroken.
Just thinking about it already felt pitiful.
Logan is now fully focused on the concert, and the funding issue seems to have just been resolved recently. If he gets emotionally hurt again, he'll surely crumble!
