"Didn't I call you before to say that funding for the concert wasn't a problem?" Logan Shaw chuckled softly, "Actually, my brother agreed, and my family won't stop me from playing the piano anymore!"
"Oh, is that so!" Evelyn Morgan felt relieved, "That's really great!"
"My brother said that what you said made him realize that he shouldn't prevent me from doing what I want." Logan's voice sounded very excited, "So, do you think I should thank you?"
"Um... Liam?" Evelyn was puzzled, "No way! I don't think I said anything that was particularly moving to him!"
Evelyn remembered that she had only run into Liam at a banquet and said a few words to him, and since then, they hadn't communicated.
Could it be that this was the occasion that helped Liam figure things out?
It's almost unbelievable to think about it.
"Anyway, Evelyn, I've always wanted to find a chance to properly thank you." Logan said softly, "If you're free, how about tonight? What do you want to eat? It's on me."
