The bar was bustling with noise, and Evelyn Morgan kept thinking about Caden Lockwood and all the things that had happened between them.
The more she thought about it, the more upset she felt.
Many people came over to try and chat her up, but she remained unmoved, treating them like air, and they had to leave dejectedly.
Evelyn had downed three large beers in a row and was already feeling a bit dizzy.
