Evelyn wanted to ask Yvonne why she jumped off the building, but the words got stuck in her throat again.
She knew that whenever Yvonne was mentioned, Caden's mood would take a downturn.

"Don't be too sad," Evelyn softly comforted him. "The dead can't come back. You need to find peace and move on."
Listening to Evelyn's words, Caden moved closer to her, held her hands tighter, and whispered, "Don't think too much."
"I know," Evelyn nodded, "You said it wasn't a romantic relationship with her. I just feel sorry because she was so young."
Caden's grip on Evelyn's hands trembled, and his gloomy expression looked as dark and unsightly as if ink had stained it.
