Evelyn clung tightly to Aunt May. Only this way could she feel a bit safer.
The scene she had just witnessed flashed in her mind, and Evelyn's trembling became more pronounced.
Earlier, when she opened the gift box, she found a pile of white ash inside, resembling bone ashes, and on top of it lay a photograph of Yvonne Rhodes falling down the stairs.
In the photo, Yvonne's death appeared even more horrifying.
The blood in the image seemed as if it would flow out of the photograph, especially with the bone ashes, catching Evelyn off guard and leaving her petrified.
"There's really nothing," Aunt May whispered, "Young Madam, come on, let's go to the study room. I'll go in front, you hide behind me, alright?"
Evelyn clenched her fists, forcing herself to calm down.
No matter what, she had to figure out what was going on.
She was at the scene of Yvonne's death; it was just a photo, there was no need to be scared, absolutely no need!
