Evelyn pulled Yvette to her room and hastily said, "Let me see your wound! I'll have Caden find the best doctor to look at it for you!"
"I wasn't punished," Yvette responded softly.
Evelyn was taken aback and instinctively asked, "Not punished? But... didn't Caden say that your sect's rules..."
"The rules are indeed set that way," Yvette replied, "but things are a bit complicated."
Evelyn couldn't help but ask, "What happened?"
"It was Liam Shaw who saved me," Yvette explained, her brows furrowing unintentionally.
"Liam Shaw?" Evelyn was even more bewildered, "Why would he save you?"
Yvette shook her head.
