"Shannon Dunn!" Evelyn Morgan was furious, "Logan and I are just friends!"
"Don't be so quick to use the word 'friends' to draw a line between the two of you." Shannon said, her eyes flashing with intense calculation.
She continued softly, "From the time you've known Logan Shaw until now, how many things have happened? You managed to turn his affection for me into an affection for you, and it's deep-rooted at that. To say nothing has happened beyond a friendship between you two, who would believe that?"
Listening to Shannon Dunn's questioning, Evelyn Morgan was at a loss for words to refute her.
