A Marvelous Devil.
Chapter 62: Breakfast for Twelve.
Dante Andromalius.
Next day.
There was something enjoyable about waking up under a pile of naked bodies.
Despite the objectively bad things about it. Like the drool and the smell.
By my unholy name... they were something else.
These three were making the original Leviathan of this world proud with how much they leaked.
Carefully snapping my fingers, I got rid of all the... excess and the smell before slumping back into the bed.
I found myself smiling at the weight. My light was truly one to keep on giving, no?
My hand caressed her hair as she snuggled closer into my chest.
Only for her to bump heads with Nyra, who grumbled and opened her eyes owlishly.
Then she blushed up a storm as soon as she locked eyes with mine.
Rolling my eyes, I swatted her pale ass with an open hand, earning a whimper and a moan from the tired goth.
Weren't we past the point of blushing?
"Well, hello there," I smirked widely. "Do you come here often, dear?"
Nyra got her blush under control and hit my arm with a pout that looked cute on her. She should pout more often instead of grumbling all the time.
Maybe it was the stress of her position? Well, it was better her than me. I didn't have her patience as much as I said I did.
"I sure as hell hope so," she snorted, hesitating for a moment before resting her head on my chest once more.
She looked surprisingly vulnerable for someone her age.
I didn't mind. She was cute like that.
"Then you are welcome whenever you want," I said calmly, only for Tandy to wake up like lightning had struck and hug the goth.
"Yeah! Last night was awesome, even if we might have gone a bit too far," she started way too excitedly for someone who had just woken up after a night like that, only to trail off hesitantly.
We all looked down at the only person who the sound and movement hadn't woken up.
And in unison, we all winced. Even me.
Because damn.
Akeno was... ruined. And she had the brightest smile as she drooled over my leg.
Even now, I could see a mess leaking out of her, and the small trembles running down her leg.
"Should I heal her?" I asked curiously.
There was something morbidly curious about watching the proof of how she made herself mine.
I couldn't stop looking at the veritable trickle coming out of the poor woman.
"Would she want that, though?" Tandy also looked as unsure as I did.
Nyra snorted, shaking her head in disbelief.
"You know, back when I was in the army, I used to think that we soldiers were the freakiest in the whole Underworld, including the lowest brothels you can think of," she breathed out, looking at the bombshell with respect and a bit of fear.
"Death usually lowers inhibitions," I nodded.
"She beats even the freakiest I ever saw," Nyra deadpanned. "We're devils, and I'm afraid of her at this point. Even when I was domming her, I felt like I was playing her own game. It was strange."
"It was hot," Tandy corrected, biting her lip for a moment before she gathered a bit of her light in her palm.
Little by little, her light healed the most... noticeable marks on Akeno's body. Even with the healing factor we devils had, they had remained stubbornly in place.
She still left some of the ones she could hide or were too amusing to get rid of them.
The bite marks around Akeno's areolas, the bruises on her breasts, the marks around her legs and ass from when we got too into it, the small, thin welts from Nyra's and Tandy's crop, the other marks of three sets of hands.
I was starting to wonder if we truly ruined her.
Tandy's lips were pursed in concentration, looking almost hesitant as she arrived at the last part.
Akeno's puffy lips looked quite red and swollen.
And she seemed to remember the joke from last night.
"Dante," she began hesitantly. "If I heal her with the Light Force down there, will she get pregnant? You know, like powering up your cum or something?"
I burst out laughing at the jealousy coming from my lover.
"I wouldn't do that to you, Tandy," I said genuinely. "You were here for me first. It's only fair I give something like this to you when you're ready. No matter how long it takes. The rest will have to wait, if that's what you truly want."
An enormous number of expressions passed across her face.
Shame, relief, jealousy, longing.
My light didn't know how to feel, and I couldn't blame her for it. Even I never had a natural offspring when I was Seere. Never saw the point.
Her reaction was all perfectly understandable.
Even if it made me wonder about Mephista before I shook my head.
"Not yet," she shook her head softly.
I nodded and hugged Nyra against my chest as she watched Tandy finish her work.
Only for both of us to snort in disbelief as she finally pulled her stretched finger away from Akeno, nodded in satisfaction for a job well done, and licked it clean.
"That's it. I was an idiot for thinking you could be a fucking Angel," Nyra shook her head. "You're the worst of us all."
Tandy pouted at the goth, then a dark smirk grew on her face.
"Whatever," she rolled her eyes. "That means no healing for you, bitch. You can enjoy limping around the castle today. I wonder what Mother will think."
The way my subordinate went even paler was hilarious, and I ignored her begging eyes as Tandy pulled me out of the bed and into the bathroom.
"You have to be there during breakfast," Tandy smirked evilly. "That's an order, Nyra."
Nyra looked defiant, but only until I nodded in agreement.
Then she laughed in disbelief before cursing us both.
What she didn't notice then was exactly what Tandy had been grabbing with more force than necessary right before my nod.
Nor the sigh of relief I let out once she let go.
I made a mistake corrupting my light. She was getting too dangerous.
One hour later.
Walking into the Great Hall, I ignored the very few servants milling around as they bowed.
I had given up trying to make them relax around me. It's not like I cared about their deference as long as they did their jobs properly.
Veneration was boring after so long. I would be more curious about them if they cursed me instead of almost kneeling wherever I passed.
Tandy, on the other hand, soaked it all in.
She had the brightest smile after our second round in the shower. My gremlin was one horny devil, and she got my engine running by herself not even five minutes after we stepped under the water.
Did that mean I was also a horny devil? Debatable.
She nodded, smiled, patted backs, and reenergized all the servants we passed, turning what would usually be a ten-minute walk into an extra half an hour.
But she was happy, so I didn't care.
"You should smile more, Dante," she rolled her eyes at me as she tried to force a smile onto my face with her hands.
She failed, because I wasn't that weak.
"They'll earn a smile when they stop acting like boring idiots," I grunted, prying the limpet away from me. "I swear, Nyra couldn't find a single interesting bastard while hiring the servants. Only that one guy who called Misla a MILF directly to Sai's face. I already forgot the names of everyone else."
"And what is his name?" She raised her eyebrow daringly.
I didn't even have to think about it before replying. "Marcus. A half-devil who joined Asmodeus's forces before losing his arm in one of the incursions into the castle."
She gaped at me, making me scoff.
Why would I lie about something as unimportant as that?
"And you just remember him out of everyone because he called Misla that?"
"Of course," I nodded. "You need to have balls of steel to say that to Sai's face."
She burst out laughing before wincing, remembering how the poor bastard looked when he returned after Sai took him into the sealed zone for 'training purposes.'
The guards at the door whispered between themselves, wondering if they should repeat the insult near me to get my attention. Their leader, another unnamed devil, promptly smacked the speaker on the back of the head.
"My Lord," he nodded firmly. "Your mother and guests are waiting for you."
I nodded.
"Thanks, Bracen!" Tandy smiled. "What about Father?"
"Lord Hadrian left to oversee the construction of one of the orphanages," he smiled dumbly at my light.
"It looks like Misla finished the first plan," she giggled and patted the guard on the shoulder before skipping into the room.
I followed her after a moment, almost dreading what else Misla had finished.
I was really close to erasing my own memories of that meeting while we ruined Akeno. Mortal ruling was damn boring.
The heavy doors closed behind me, and I heard the guards bickering once more, with... what was it? Braken?
Meh, whatever his name was, he started chiding the idiot and warning him about Sai.
Heh. My vassal was a menace with quite a reputation already.
"Deary!" Celestine's squeal almost ruptured my eardrums as she hugged Tandy and sat her down next to her.
"Mother!" Tandy squealed back.
I rolled my eyes at the pair and nodded at Rogue and Jean.
Only to receive blank looks.
With dark bags under their eyes. It looked like they hadn't slept a single moment.
Did they feel weird sleeping here on the underworld for the first time? I wasn't sure if humans would suffer from something like that as the first time I brought Tandy here she was already in my peerage.
Peering into their souls, I facepalmed when I realized what had happened instead.
I hadn't activated the silencing wards. I usually only activated them localized around my parents' room because it was kind of weird receiving encouraging nods from them the morning after. But Nyra and the rest of the castle were fair play.
Their reactions filled my soul with satisfaction.
I just... forgot about the new members of our group.
I opened my mouth to say something, only for the door to open once more.
A limping Nyra stepped into the room, glaring murder at anyone who opened their mouth at her appearance.
She looked the same as always, but you couldn't erase that 'well-fucked' air radiating around her even if you tried.
But that glare didn't do shit against the missile that was Celestine.
She fucking teleported next to Nyra and embraced her.
"Finally!" she grinned widely. "More grandbabies!"
The horrified look Nyra sent Tandy was out of this world.
But Tandy just giggled, and Nyra's shoulders slumped in relief.
What I was focusing on, however, was Jean.
And the horrified blush that was rapidly growing on her face.
The way her eyes went wider and wider, and her mouth opened little by little?
Absolutely precious.
"What did you three do to her?!" she gasped out loud, looking more afraid and curious than disgusted.
Nyra's eyes widened before they narrowed into pinpricks.
She sent me a disbelieving look, but I just nodded calmly.
Nyra showed exactly why I was right to like her, because a look of pure desire and excitement instantly grew on her face.
"What are you talking about, Jean?" Celestine asked worriedly.
The redhead focused on my mother for a second before wincing, realizing couldn't explain without saying she could read minds.
And that wasn't common in this world. I remembered Ajuka mentioning during one of our tea meetings that there was only one being he knew that was capable of it. The God of Destruction of the… Hindu pantheon? One, if not the strongest pure God in the whole world.
"Nothing," she shook her head in a hurry.
Celestine's narrowed gaze made her shift in her seat, but she just turned to look at Tandy, who giggled.
"It wasn't just Nyra last night."
The peals of laughter coming from my mother would have healed anyone's soul.
No one would have been able to erase her joy as she started humming under her breath, turning back to start cooking breakfast for the rest of us.
We took our seats. My grin widened at the embarrassment that returned to Nyra's face under Jean's disapproving glare. Or how it grew as the goth sat down and couldn't hide her wince.
"I'm not apologizing. It was my damn turn," Nyra scoffed and looked the other way.
"You fucked Akeno, too?" Rogue raised an eyebrow, acting as if she wasn't curious.
I nodded proudly.
"They destroyed her," Jean murmured to herself, staring blankly at the table. "I'm checking right now, and she's completely out of it."
The interested look returned to Nyra's face.
"Mind reading?" she mouthed at me.
I nodded, and her eyes brightened even more than Tandy's when she was excited.
"Peerage?" she practically jumped out of her seat.
"I'm working on it," I said loudly, knowing there was no reason to hide it when the human in question was listening to everything anyway.
"You're fucking not!" Jean deadpanned. "You haven't said a word about it ever since you explained what it was!"
And she didn't look disgusted or even against it, making me grin at her.
She shook her head in amusement before her eyes started going wider once more.
"Dante, you ruined her!" Jean repeated herself. "Her mind... her mind is..."
"I believe that's praise for my ability in bed, my dear," I chuckled. "What was the term in Rias's book, Tandy?"
My light's eyes lit up as she let out a bark of laughter. "Mind break! We fucked her so hard we broke her mind!"
I very consciously didn't mention the way Rogue got even closer to Tandy and touched her hand. My light didn't think anything of it; she just grabbed Rogue's hand and smiled.
The rising blush on the second goth was precious as well as that complicated look she sent me right after.
I planned to start our day there and then, but as things were getting increasingly repetitive in my life, the heavy doors banged inward.
Literally exploded and dropped to the ground with a massive bang.
Almost everyone jumped in their seats. Rogue clenched her hand around Tandy, and a bit of the Light Force covered her body defensively. Tandy did the same, just a lot more than the trickle the goth had taken in that short amount of time.
Magical circles sprang under Nyra's feet as she immediately started sprinting in Celestine's direction.
She was a good subordinate.
And Jean? Jean imitated me and did nothing.
I just frowned at the trio entering the room and the rapidly apologizing guards.
Sai was first, almost stomping between genuine fury and dread.
Kuisha was worried. Worried enough that she didn't even glare at me like she usually did.
Misla had dark bags under her eyes, clearly not having slept a wink last night, but her soul was filled with worry and fear.
She was practically radiating anxiety.
Tandy relaxed in her seat upon seeing who they were, though she started worrying about something going wrong. Nyra dispelled her magic, and Celestine finally stepped from behind Nyra.
My mother ran toward Misla and hugged her, murmuring sweet nothings that had the MILF smiling.
"You can deduct it from my paycheck," Sai said, pointing at the ruined doors.
"What's got your panties in a bunch?" I asked curiously, not bothering to read his soul.
"You have a visitor, Dante," Misla said cautiously. "Someone… someone from our past."
She put her hand on her son's shoulder, and Sai took a deep breath, closing his eyes and focusing on his Touki to forcibly calm himself down.
"Well, I suppose it's not Lord Bael, considering there are no explosions or a shower of blood out there," I deadpanned. "Is it serious?"
Sai snorted even as a dark look passed over his face.
I bit back a laugh, because another redhead peeked through the ruined doorway, her face caught somewhere between a pout and a glare.
And I could tell she wasn't the one Misla and Sai were talking about, as they were equally surprised at her presence.
What was it with the Ashen Courts and unannounced visitors today? It was getting absurd how many people were coming to bother me while I just wanted to have my damn breakfast.
I waved Rias in, and she stepped inside cautiously.
She was being followed by someone who made Celestine tense up, then visibly force herself to relax.
"Lady Lucifuge," Celestine said frostily. "I can't say I had any knowledge of you visiting. If we had, we would have prepared a banquet for someone like you."
That had a lot more bite than anything I had ever seen from my mother.
The last time we saw the woman, I obviously noticed how uncomfortable she made Celestine, but this time it was different. She was the mother of the newest Lord.
Despite still being uncomfortable and having mixed opinions about Lucifer's wife, she put up a strong front deserving of someone of her station.
I was proud of her, even if I still had to ask her what that history was about later.
"Is everything okay, Dante?" Rias asked worriedly, looking around the table.
Her eyes stopped on Rogue, then Jean. Her eyebrow started twitching before she forcibly composed herself.
"I think I still don't know what's going on." My lips twitched at how the chaos in the room basically froze as Grayfia looked over our group.
"You have my apologies, Lady Andromalius," Grayfia nodded to my mother. "This visit was not planned, but Rias was worried after her Queen didn't return home last night."
"Ah," Celestine just... stopped after that.
"But you trust Dante, no?" She asked Rias. "Didn't you send her here all those nights after the... event?"
"Oh, that bitch," Rias groaned, massaging her temples. "I told her I would apologize when he returned! I thought she was just getting more human contracts because she was feeling antsy!"
I burst out laughing as Grayfia almost covered her face with her hand.
Her expression didn't change at all, but I could see her fond embarrassment toward the redhead.
Then Rias's eyes grew horrified, looking toward me almost mechanically.
I nodded unashamedly.
Her scream of pure rage and disbelief was music to my ears.
She forgot… or maybe didn't care about Grayfia's presence.
"She jumped the line!?" She grabbed her hair and pulled, being a bit too dramatic.
"She fucking tried," Nyra snorted. "I was not going to lose to either of you two."
"Another one?!" Rias fell to her knees as she looked at the ceiling in pure despair, then glared at Rogue and Jean. "And you DARE to bring two more?"
She pointed at me accusingly.
Rogue was too busy laughing in disbelief, while Jean just banged her head on the table.
"Respect where respect is due," Rogue shook her head. "At this point it's clear they see something I don't."
I just locked eyes with her, my smirk growing until she couldn't hold my gaze and looked to the side.
The fuck she meant she couldn't see it herself. I was me.
"Lady Rias, you're embarrassing yourself," Grayfia cleared her throat.
That was like dropping a bucket of cold water on Rias, who stood up in alarm.
But despite looking afraid, or maybe it was more appropriate to call it terrified, she didn't receive a negative look from the maid.
Grayfia just looked as blank as before, and her soul told me she wasn't blind nor uncaring about Rias's romantic situation. She was even cheering her on, despite her husband, Lucifer, hating the idea of me stealing his little sister.
"Is Lady Akeno in good health?" She turned her frigid eyes to me, and I met them unflinchingly.
That earned a smidgen of genuine respect from the Strongest Queen.
Not that I cared in the slightest.
"She's asleep at the moment," I nodded calmly. "I planned on sending a servant to clean her up in a bit, as well as giving her something to eat."
"I was going to do it myself," Tandy smiled innocently at Grayfia. "I don't think anyone else should see how she currently is!"
"Absolutely not!" Rias almost shouted. "There's no way I won't do it myself! I need to see what the slut went through last night."
Jean groaned from the table.
Tandy giggled, shaking her head. "Come, I'll help you. I can eat later. I still feel a bit full after last night."
That didn't help much, because the glare she received from the redhead was downright hateful.
Tandy's twinkling laugh filled the castle for a minute before she grabbed Rias's hand and started pulling her toward our bedroom.
"Lord Andromalius?" Grayfia started, her lips barely twitching.
"Do what you want," I waved her off. "A pleasure meeting you once more, Lady Lucifuge, but as you can see, you interrupted something else."
"My apologies and thank you for taking care of Rias." She bowed just a bit lower than she had to Celestine, then started walking behind the squabbling pair.
Tandy's teasing, Rias's horrified and jealous screams, and the soft tapping of Grayfia's heels slowly disappeared into the distance.
"Better you than me," Sai deadpanned. "She didn't even greet us."
"Let it be, dear," Misla tutted. "Lucifer knows the girl needed it."
After Breakfast.
"So, what's the problem with our visitor? Did we have him waiting while we ate?" I asked curiously as the group followed Misla toward her office.
The group was Sai and his Queen, Jean, Rogue, and me.
I doubted Tandy would join us anytime soon. Even with Grayfia's help, cleaning Akeno would take a long time, especially considering how much Rias would squabble and how much Akeno and Tandy would fan the flames.
In part, I wanted to see that. There was no way it wouldn't be hilarious.
On the other hand... I was also unsure how Rias would react to my presence. At this point, I wouldn't put it past her jumping me even while Grayfia was watching, or just straight up attacking me.
And letting her boil by herself would be funny later.
"No, no, as amusing as that would be," Kuisha snorted. "He's not the kind of devil who cares about power plays like that. He wouldn't be impressed or intimidated by someone just making him wait."
Misla chuckled.
"He's... Sai's younger brother. From my husband's second wife. The current Heir to the family," she explained. "And he was quite curious about the plantations around the territory, or at least that's what he said. I sent my own servant to guide him around the town. Is that a problem?"
I waved her off.
If anyone could replicate what Tandy did without access to the Light Force, I would take them for myself.
At this point, I welcomed their attempts.
"Tell me about him."
Misla hesitated for a moment before poking Sai's cheek.
He scratched his arm, then sighed.
"Magdaran Bael. He's my brother, as Mom said. Lord Bael had him after they checked me when I was four and it turned out I didn't have our clan trait. He's... complicated."
"He's a bastard, that's what he is," Kuisha gritted her teeth.
Misla looked at her disapprovingly as Sai sighed again.
"He... hates me, and hates himself for hating me," Sai continued. "It was how he was taught. You can't blame him for that, Kuisha. And you know I don't care about my last name. They can do what they want. Everything I want to protect is here."
I bumped my fist against the idiot, who laughed like one and rubbed the back of his neck.
Misla had a cute, proud smile on her face.
"He doesn't get along with Lord Bael, though. As I said, he was taught that, but he isn't an asshole like my donor."
That erased the smile from Misla's face as she snorted.
"I will call him that in the next letter," she grinned. "As for Magdaran… well, he likes botany… a lot. That obviously doesn't endear him to his father or mother, but he does have the clan trait and is strong for his age. He is already a High-Class devil."
"And he's what... seventeen?" I asked after a moment.
She nodded.
"And what exactly is he doing here?"
"That's what I've been trying to figure out, and I honestly don't know," Misla sighed. "It could be his own genuine desire. Like I said, he loves plants. He's good with plants and alchemy. And you have the most fertile soil in the whole Underworld. It could just be him wanting to learn more, attempting to become friends, things like that."
"Or he could be sent here by his father to cause problems," Kuisha snorted. "Or worse, his ancestor."
Misla just shrugged.
"And you can't just kick him out?" Rogue asked curiously.
"If only it were that easy, dear," Misla sighed. "Dante would find it funny, but we have to take care of how the Underworld sees him if he won't do it himself. Kicking out someone as... humble and popular wouldn't be the best course of action. Even if Sai and I have our doubts, the best thing to do is to accept his invitation and see exactly what he wants."
"Their family is one of, if not the strongest in the Underworld," I added for the mutants' sake. "Thousands of years of favors owed, and founded by one of the very few remaining, if not the only original devil created by Lucifer himself."
Rogue nodded in understanding.
"And with the Council meeting coming soon, having allies would be for the best," Misla nodded. "Even as young as he is, he has a significant following, and if you could win him over like you did Sai..."
Ah. There it was.
That growing smirk only made her hotter.
She fanned her face under my gaze as Sai cleared his throat, looking intensely uncomfortable.
"Can you do that when I'm not here, Mom?!" Sai said embarrassedly.
"Oh, poo!" Misla stuck her tongue out. "Let your old mom feel young once more, Sai."
He rolled his eyes and walked ahead as Misla burst out laughing, opening the door to the office where two people waited inside.
And as I locked eyes with the younger copy of my vassal, I couldn't help but think of one thing.
Misla was right.
Wouldn't it be absolutely nice of me to steal both sons right out from under that idiot?
Someone who ignored being ignored after this long couldn't possibly be well in the head.
