Currently, based on Wang Ye's understanding, a pressure of at least 100GPa is needed to synthesize carbon acetylene from carbon atoms. However, the pressure Wang Ye can create using Primordial Qi is only about 3GPa. Theoretically, he must excavate to a zone where the pressure exceeds 90GPa to have a chance to synthesize carbon acetylene within his body.
In other words, he must descend to at least 2700 kilometers below the surface, which is the boundary layer of the Earth's core, to possibly achieve his goal.
But this is obviously unreasonable.
Wang Ye has now only dug 50 kilometers underground and has already felt noticeable pressure.
If he continues to go deeper to below 2700 kilometers, Wang Ye might be burnt to ashes and crushed into dust by the sheer pressure before he even starts synthesizing carbon acetylene, becoming part of the Earth.
