The ripening of Jiang Feng's corn was originally a trivial matter.
But a professor from the city's Agricultural Research Institute insisted on coming to check it out.
This professor, named Ruan Yuanwu, has a good relationship with the old professors over at the Kyoto Agricultural Research Institute.
They're very interested in the crops grown by Jiang Feng.
Such as pumpkins, white radishes, etc.
But interestingly, when experts used the roots and stems of these crops to replant, the produce, while good, never reached the level of what Jiang Feng grew.
Jiang Feng asked the system about this.
The seeds won from the system lottery are most effective the first time they're planted.
Afterwards, they either don't produce new seeds, like seedless watermelon; or the seeds produced are just market-quality crop seeds, not matching the original plant's effect.
Ruan Yuanwu, accompanied by two researchers, came to the cornfield, picked a corn, and examined it carefully.
