"The... Star Universe?"
The Knightess was completely baffled by Westheid's sudden, outrageous theory. Her gray beast ears trembled as her beautiful golden eyes widened in disbelief.
"Yes, the Star Universe. At least, that's what I rely on."
Westheid nonchalantly folded his hands in his lap, his prim and proper posture making it seem as if he were discussing some grave matter:
"Of course, appetite and the need for sleep also work, but neither of those desires compares to the Star Universe. As a Transcendent's power grows, our bodies are elevated. We can directly absorb ambient Magic Power to replace food, and sleep ceases to be a necessity."
"Both of these instincts will weaken as a result."
"Only the Star Universe is not diminished by promotions in Tier. In fact, as our bodies become more perfectly sublimated, they grow ever more vigorous."
