Occasionally, rational comments would emerge in the comment sections of major videos.
"We don't know the full story yet. It's illegal to jump to conclusions and cyberbully like this."
"Hey big sister, I'm a huge fan of yours. Don't rush to pick a side, I'm saying this for your own good."
"If the situation turns around, bloggers with your influence will be held accountable."
However, these comments are drowned out before the major bloggers even see them.
There are even unlawful forces deliberately guiding the narrative, making those comments sink into oblivion.
Seizing the moment, Zhang Xiaodan posted another video.
In the video, she wore long sleeves and pants, a hat and a mask, and had switched her glasses for sunglasses, appearing very much the victim.
She held her ID card showing her photo to the camera, speaking with a crying voice:
"Guys, I never thought that after a girl is victimized, using the internet to protect her rights would lead to being questioned."
