"We've planned this handover ceremony for a long time, but your calmness is surprising."
Van Persie, after putting on the armband, smiled at Ma'el with the armband on, his expression showing satisfaction. The armband on Ma'el reminded him of the person who recently wreaked havoc in the European Cup.
He hopes that Ma'el will be the same Ma'el for Arsenal in the new season, and hopes to lead him to the highest honor of a European championship!
"This is the most expensive gift." Ma'el hugged him, then found Wenger standing in the back row, and once again high-fived with him, expressing gratitude for his trust.
He glanced at the camera again, raised his hands, and this time, he smiled more brightly, "Come on! Cheese.....!!"
"Click!"
The picture freezes at this moment. From tomorrow on, he will be Arsenal's captain, and the icon of the team's new season!
Being selected as the dual captain of the France team and Arsenal before turning 19 is an extraordinary honor for him.
