The head wolf was relieved. Great, she got one, now it wouldn't have to run all over the mountains with her. The wolf was tired and just wanted to sleep.
As it started to leave, Wen Ran encircled its chubby neck.
"Wait!"
The head wolf looked at Wen Ran in confusion, wagging its drooped tail slightly.
"Well," Wen Ran grinned sheepishly, "take me to find the cows."
She was going to use the same trick again.
Just as she was about to mimic the cows' movements, that wretched head wolf caught her off guard, launching a sneak attack from behind.
It delivered a mighty kick right to her derriere.
Standing by the brook, completely unguarded, Wen Ran was kicked straight into the water.
