Shen Xianxian stared at the piece of dark fabric, lost in thought for a while.
Wen Ran folded her arms, observing.
For some reason, this Shen Xianxian gave her a sense of incongruity.
Not quite the same as the wooden Shen Xianxian from before.
"Did you notice anything?"
"No," Shen Xianxian replied hoarsely, looked up, and returned the fabric to Wen Ran, "Thank you for saving me."
"You're welcome."
The team leader came in with medicine, and upon seeing Shen Xianxian awake, was startled.
"Little rascal, why didn't you say something when she woke up?"
Handing the medicine bowl to Shen Xianxian, the team leader rambled, "Drink slowly, it's a bit hot."
Shen Xianxian tried it; it was indeed too hot.
Unable to drink it, she propped herself up, struggled to sit up, and placed the medicine bowl aside, "Thank you."
"No need to thank me," the team leader waved, indicating Shen Xianxian should thank Wen Ran, "She's the one who carried you down from the mountain."
"Thank you, miss."
