Another day had passed once again, more people avoiding him without Rei doing anything at all. Just his mere presence already treating him like some sort of curse that one shouldn't associate with. "So much for equal treatment…" He muttered to himself before arriving once again at the Assault Division as Rei immediately went to change into the locker room.
A new set of PE uniforms since he had damaged his old ones during the sports festival. Rei's regime for today's class was the whole time for the assault division courses. The raid simulation immediately started as soon as he entered, without any hesitation as he activated his prowess.
Totality. The new technique over mimicry, amplification and combination of his own prowess which he finally acquired to have some sort of power, speed and defense by stockpiling his spiritual energy to channel through his body before it becomes a raw enhancement to his own strength, speed, agility and durability.
It was something that he was proud of since relying on his own physical combat abilities and waiting for the latter to activate their prowess or being at a disadvantage against mental type prowess.
"Totality, 5%."
Rei immediately spread out his spiritual energy through his body, focusing on his legs to give him more speed then to his fingers which allowed him to propel himself even faster from the compressed air that he was unleashing from the raw enhancement.
He went on to tackle at least 15 test dummies, tagging them out or either destroying them depending on the colour to represent immediate arrest or high priority elimination targets. Either way, it was a stress reliever for him since he didn't need to vent his anger out without putting anyone in harm's way.
Rei went on for a couple of minutes before finishing the simulation raid after he had reached the final destination. The entire room changed as Rinka entered the room, looking at the results at her hand as she approached him.
"You apprehended two to three targets within a span of seven seconds before proceeding to do the rest. Eliminated targets were around eight seconds in elimination… Overall, you finished it immediately in exactly one hour and thirty minutes."
Her statement made Rei sighed in relief, happy that he was able to get this far especially when he struggled a lot from the previous month. "I see… Is it good?" He asked while Rinka responded back immediately, "For actual raids. I say at least 40% right since what you need to focus on is to rescue anyone that's caught in the crossfire or being held as hostage. Other than that, you're doing fine in an A rank setting which Eunji and I had been training you with."
Rei understood her answer as he took note of what else he can improve but the latter had beaten him to it. "I tell you what. I'll request for Eunji to let the headmaster allow us to go on an ordinary E or D rank mission out of the academy. We'll show you the ropes on the way and what to expect for this type first before we go up. Does that sound good?"
The male debates for a bit before nodding his head in agreement. "Great! Take a rest for now before checking your new uniform at your designated office since that will be the thing you'll wear as an assault sorcerer from Kamigami Academy. After that, I'll text you when to suit up or not." Rinka said before leaving Rei as the latter proceeded to go to the locker room to shower first before changing into more comfortable school clothing.

"Is this really practical?" Rei asked as he kept on looking at his uniform compared to his seniors.
Eunji was wearing a long black trench coat up to her ankles, a tight belt tightened around her waist, and then a long collar. Underneath was a turtleneck shirt that the extra curricular class provided then came the long dress pants and a pair of combat boots. Then came Rinka who was wearing a crop top jacket, a muscle tank top, roll-up shorts, leggings and the same boots like Eunji's.
On the other hand, he was wearing a baggy jacket with his sleeves strapped tightly as if it were to mimic a sort of gauntlet along with a high collar, a pair of gloves that seemed to have a lot of protection for punching, and a combat pants that had protection sleeves around his knees and ankles that are connected to his boots.
The difference between the colour scheme was that the senior had no white stripes compared to his in which he asked them the reason for it. "Your outfit marks you as a freshman that's learning the roles and responsibilities which is why you have three white stripes around the shoulder sleeves." Eunji stated while Rinka was yawning while the three of them were venturing out around the Kingdom of Ethereal.
"I see…" Rei uttered while keeping his eyes around while powering up slightly to boost the passive ability of his sensory if there were any slight usage of prowess around the area.
"So, it's just a simple D rank scouting right?" He asked while Rinka immediately answered, "Nope. It may be a simple D rank scouting but sometimes it ends up as a B rank or A rank depending on the situation. It's mostly just casual escorting important imports or figures, maybe a bit of apprehending criminals that are doing crimes? That's about it."
The male could only nod his head as he looked around to see if there's anything fishy but seemed to find nothing. "Should we help them?" Rei asked upon seeing some people struggling to put some heavy things into the carriage.
"Go ahead if that's what you want." Eunji said, allowing the male to go ahead as he tried to help them although Rei was immediately shunned because of his status.
"Stay away! Monster!"
Rei immediately flinched, unable to act as Rinka noticed his reaction before intervening as she saw him not reacting when one of them had already reached out a butcher knife as they tried to strike him.
The orange brown hair girl caught their hand before it landed. "Sir. Do you really want to get arrested in broad daylight from where everyone can see that you're about to assault an officer from Kamigami Academy?" She sang playfully before adding, "Even if he's the vessel of the 'fallen', you wouldn't want to face the wrath of our headmaster do you now." Her eyes glowed a bright shade which intimidated the group before proceeding to do their own way while scoffing at the trio.
"You alright?" Eunji asked, which brought Rei out of his trance, "Y-Yeah. Just shocked at them…" he said in a weak tone, making Rinka immediately understand his current state.
"Let's go. There's nothing else to do." Rinka called out as they immediately followed her, continuing to walk around the place before heading back to the academy.

Rei was having troubles upon reaching the academy, his breath uneven as he had already fled to his dorms when Eunji had dismissed them to let him take the time off. Clutching onto the left side of his face, grunting as he tried to steady himself as flashes of memories went over and over again.
"Monster!"
"Heathen!"
"Traitor!"
"Shut up!" The male screamed as he felt overwhelmed by the sudden flash of memories going through his head, tearing up. It finally stopped after minutes of his silent cries in his dorm room.
Rei was finally relieved as he immediately went to bed after getting himself up from the floor and putting his shoes aside. He didn't bother cleaning himself up as he laid face first on the bed, immediately shutting his eyes as he cried himself to sleep.
Although, he didn't notice the magenta haired girl peeking out of his bathroom. Sylvie was concerned as she had a spare key to his room when she asked Eunji about it who doubted them but couldn't do anything to deny her.
"Rei…" she whispered softly before getting close to him, patting his head and ruffling his hair as Sylvie did her best to comfort the crying male. "It's okay. I'm here."
The once whimpering cries were not reduced to the sound of a faint and steady breathing. Sylvie's face looked softened as she finally found relief to see Rei in a relaxed state without panicking nor in a vulnerable position especially after everything he has been through.
She texted Hinata not to wait for her at the dorms as she also informed the pink haired girl that she's sleeping over at Rei's dorm to watch over him in which the latter didn't press any questions.
Questions whether they were doing something else was out of Hinata's mind especially when Rei's mental health state was declining from the amount of pressure that he was in at the moment.
Although, the group had one thing in their mind after the incident from the sports festival.
Rei's happiness being fulfilled despite the negativity that their schoolmates and other people in Ethereal tried to give to him.
