And now, for the first time, I had access to them.
Almost all of them, with only a few exceptions, possessed aura and high level martial skills and attributes. Some did have aura, but they couldn't control it properly.

Each Vice Admiral commanded an enormous stretch of sea territory and held authority over more than twenty thousand marines.
The Admirals were on an entirely different level. They were the nuclear warheads of the marines—powerful enough to serve as deterrents against criminals and even entire nations. Unlike ordinary aura users, they possessed attributed aura. I had heard rumors that among the current Admirals, one could manipulate gravity, another wielded fire, and another controlled thunder.
I wasn't sure how accurate the rumors were, since I had never seen them in action. Still, power of that scale wasn't something ordinary people could imagine.
As for the Fleet Admiral, I had no idea what he was capable of. But someone who held the highest military position in the world had to be a monster among monsters.
'I bet he's a terrifying existence.'
Shaking off that thought, I focused on the stack of documents in front of me.
'Enough of that. Let's see the list.'
I immediately skipped past the ranks below Vice Admiral. With my Second Level Authority, I couldn't command Admirals unless it was an emergency, so my most realistic target was a Vice Admiral.
I also ignored all the male Vice Admirals and focused solely on the female candidates.
There were only six.
Two of them were extremely old—practically from my grandmother's generation. Three others weren't my type at all, their faces and bodies covered in battle scars and deformities from years of front-line combat.
'It seems there's only one choice left.'
A wave of disappointment hit me. Out of the entire marine force—millions of soldiers—there was only one female Vice Admiral who was both powerful and beautiful.
But then again, reaching the rank of Vice Admiral required exceptional aura control, elite skills, outstanding achievements, and overwhelming strength. Beauty wasn't exactly part of the qualification list.
In the end, I chose my only viable option.

I looked at her profile and spoke to my butler.

The butler bowed deeply and left to contact marine headquarters.
