The next day the group had gone to Greenwich Royal Navy College, Darcy and Ian began putting Erik's devices all around various points while Sif and Loki were with Jane and Erik. Loki was disguised as a boring looking man with brown hair, simply because if he was actually seen then people would be demanding his head. Sif was also on 'Loki watch', meaning it was her job to slap him on the head if he tried to escape, though Harry had made sure to discreetly put a tracking charm on Loki in case he did try to escape. Meanwhile Jane modified the settings in an attempt to gain some control over the anomalies so she could help Harry and Thor while also messing up the dark elves plan.
Harry and Thor meanwhile were searching for Malekith and his elves. They were encouraged to speed up by the rifts forming in the sky and around them which allowed them to see other worlds. Eventually they discovered the dark elves who had opted to ignore the stealth option.
The dark elves ship became visible just as its bottom part cut across the water before it reached the land and did the same, before stopping. It was rather hard not to notice it seeing as it easily dwarfed all the other buildings around it. The elves walked out of the ship just as Thor landed down on the ground, smashing it as he did so. At the same time Harry slowly glided down next to him, wearing his full armour with the hood up and the mask on. Padfoot appeared next to him in his battle mode.
"You know something," Harry said to Thor while keeping his eyes on the dark elves. "where I came from, elves were small little creatures that would stand no higher than your knee and live to serve their human masters. Right know… I'm kind of missing that." Thor snorted at that but did not reply as Malekith stopped along with his elves.
"You needn't have come so far Asgardian, death would have come for you soon enough." Malekith said calmly and confidently, he possessed the Aether after all, he was unstoppable. That and the fact that he had his army of elves with him made sure that his victory was all but guaranteed.
"Not by your hand." Thor glared at him, speaking just as confidently.
"Your universe was never meant to be!" Malekith spat. "Your world and your family will be extinguished!" Malekith shouted, he aimed his hand at the three. He used the Aether to send some dark red blasts towards them, Padfoot dodged while Harry blocked with a magical shield but was still pushed back a small amount. Thor on the other hand was knocked off of his feet.
Harry cast several spells at Malekith who blocked it all with a red shield, Malekith fired again once Thor had gotten back to his feet. Harry dodged out of the way while Thor stood his ground, using Mjolnir as a shield. Thor was pushed back but managed to stay on his feet.
"You know, with all of that power, I thought you would have hit harder." Thor grinned.
Malekith, clearly not liking that response, prepared to fire again. But Harry was quicker, he fired an explosive curse at the ground under Malekith, the ground exploded, hooting Malekith upwards and forwards. Harry teleported in place to grab Malekith by the neck in midair and slam him into the ground. Three claws shot out of Harry's hand and pierced Malekith's chest, Malekith let out a cry of pain but quickly blasted Harry away. As Harry flew through the air he cast a killing curse at Malekith, the green curse managed to him dead center in the chest but it did not really have the desired effect that Harry wanted as Malekith stood up a second later.
"Damn it," Harry said as he landed next to Thor. "the Aether must be protecting him, he should be dead."
"I think you are right," Thor frowned. "does this change anything?" He asked.
"No, I'm still going to rip out of him." Harry said as he moved forward.
Malekith fired a blast at Harry who quickly pulled up his shield. Harry was pushed back but managed to stay up, the shield charged before firing a blast at Malekith. Malekith was able to put up a small shield that blocked the blast, even if it did cause a massive hole in the shield. Something Thor took full advantage of, he threw Mjolnir and it crashed into Malekith, sending him flying away. Thor quickly went after him.
"Looks like it's just you and me, buddy." Harry said to Padfoot who barked in agreement before the two charged towards the dark elves. Harry dodged a couple of blasts before he fired a cutting curse, the curse appeared to have missed it's apparent target but quickly curved around and hit him in the back, causing him to crash into another two elves. Harry teleported closer, he and Padfoot got to work, cutting down soldier after soldier.
