"I..."
I tried to speak, but the words caught in my throat.
The Scepter in my hand wasn't just a weapon. It was energy source. It pulsed with a rhythm that matched the universe, sending shockwaves of pure data into my nervous system.
Loki laughed from the floor, blood trickling from his nose. "You fool. You think you can wield the Mind Stone? It will burn your mind to ash!"
"Shut up," I gritted out.
My AetherCore flared, trying to contain the surge. My Aether reserves hit 100%, then 200%, then critical overload.
'It's too much. It's like drinking the ocean through a straw.'
My vision went white.
[ Location: Vivan's Mindscape ]
The steel fortress of my mind was melting. The walls were turning into liquid gold. The sky was screaming with alien languages.

Inside the cage, Pennywise woke up.
The Clown looked at the flood of golden energy pouring into the room.
He looked... famished.
"Ooh," Pennywise drooled, unhinging his jaw until it touched the floor. "Spicy! Chaos! Knowledge! Get out of my house!"
[ Passive Ability Active: Fear Eater (Overdrive). ]
The Clown inhaled.
He didn't eat me but he ate the overflow.
He sucked in the madness, the raw cosmic data that was trying to erase my brain.
He filtered it.
"Yummy," Pennywise burped, glowing with golden light. "More."
The pressure in my head vanished.
The pain turned into power.

[ Location: Reality ]
I gasped, my eyes snapping open.
The world looked... slow.
I could see the individual dust motes floating in the air. I could see the electrons spinning in the steel railing.
I could hear the thoughts of the Chitauri hive mind buzzing like a billion angry bees.
I floated up. My feet left the concrete. My aura wasn't invisible anymore. It was a visible, terrifying Violet corona that warped the light around me.
Loki stared at me.
His arrogance was gone, replaced by pure, unadulterated fear.
"What... what are you?" the God of Mischief whispered.
I looked down at him.
My eyes flashed Orange (Pennywise) then settled into a deep, glowing Violet.
"I'm the guy who eat fear for fun," I said. His voice echoed, not just in the air, but in Loki's head.
Loki's eyes darted to his belt. In a blur of motion—fast for a human, slow for me—he pulled a hidden dagger and lunged, aiming for my throat.
'He thinks I'm distracted, lol.'
I didn't dodge or shield.
I just stared at the dagger.
'Change.'
[ Ability Active: Atomic Rearrangement. ]
The steel blade rippled. The molecular bonds dissolved and reformed.
Splash.
The dagger turned into water. It splashed harmlessly against my trench coat.
Loki froze, holding a wet hilt. "Impossible..."
"Physics is just a suggestion now," I said calmly.
Esdeath watched me from the side, kicking a frozen Chitauri out of her way. Her eyes were wide, pupils dilated. She wasn't looking at the battle anymore. She was looking at me.
"You..." Esdeath breathed, stepping closer. " are powerful. It is... magnificent."
"It's a lot," I admitted, my voice echoing slightly.
I looked up at the hole in the sky.
It was still spewing monsters.
"Stay here," I told her. "I have to close the door."
I floated higher, leaving the balcony.
"Esdeath," I called out to the Ice General. "Watch this."
[ Location: Airspace Above Stark Tower ]
The wind whipped my coat around me as I ascended. I didn't need to fly fast. I just willed myself to be higher, and the universe complied.
I stopped level with the Tesseract machine on the roof. Dr. Selvig was lying on the floor, dazed.
The beam of pure energy shot into the sky, holding the wormhole open.
'I don't need the stick,' I thought, looking at the massive hole in space. 'I have God-Level Telekinesis now'
I raised my hand.
I aimed at the hole itself.
[ Ability Active: Psychokinesis (Divine). ]
I grabbed the edges of the wormhole with my mind.
It felt heavy—like trying to close a door against a hurricane.
'CLOSE.'
I clenched my fist.
The sky screamed.
The wormhole didn't just shrink; it zipped shut.
A massive Leviathan whale was halfway through. The portal closed around its waist.
CRACK.
The alien whale was sliced cleanly in half. The front half fell toward the city. The back half drifted into space.
Alien guts rained down over Manhattan.
"Gross," I muttered.
Below me, the Chitauri army suddenly dropped. Their hive mind connection was severed. Soldiers fell off their chariots. Leviathans crashed into buildings, lifeless.
Silence fell over New York.
I floated down, landing softly on the penthouse balcony.
Esdeath was waiting for me. She was covered in alien blood and ice dust.
She looked... happy.
"You closed the hole in sky," she purred, stepping over a frozen alien. "Impressive."
"I try," I said, leaning on the Scepter like a cane.
Suddenly, a loud noise filled the air.
THUD.
Iron Man landed on the balcony with a heavy metallic clank. Thor dropped down from the roof. Hulk climbed up the side of the building, roaring. Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow ran out from the elevator.
The Avengers Assembled.
And they surrounded us.
Tony Stark flipped his faceplate up. He looked at me, then at Esdeath, then at the frozen Loki.
"Okay," Tony said, his hand glowing. "Who the hell is the glow-stick? And why is Reindeer Games a popsicle?"
"He holds the Scepter!" Thor boomed, raising Mjolnir. "He wielding the Mind Stone! He is dangerous!"
"Dangerous?" Esdeath laughed.
She stepped in front of me, drawing her rapier. Her blue aura flared, dropping the temperature on the balcony by twenty degrees. "You speak to my mate with disrespect?"
"Mate?" Hawkeye notched an arrow. "Okay, this is getting weird."
"HULK SMASH ICE LADY!" Hulk roared, charging Esdeath.
"Wait!" Cap yelled.
Esdeath didn't wait.
She smiled.
She stomped her foot.
CRACK.
A massive pillar of ice erupted from the floor beneath Hulk. It launched the green giant upward with the force of a cannon.
"Going up!" Esdeath laughed.
Hulk flew into the sky, roaring in confusion.
The Avengers flinched.
Iron Man raised his hand to fire.
"Esdeath! Stop!" I ordered, stepping forward. "No killing the good guys! They're the local heroes."
"They attacked first," Esdeath pouted, lowering her sword slightly. "And the green one was rude."
I looked at Tony. "Relax, Stark. We're just the cleaning crew."
I tossed the Scepter.
It spun through the air. Captain America caught it reflexively.
"It's yours," I said. "Along with the Cube. We just wanted to stop the invasion."
Tony looked at the Scepter, then at me. "You... you closed the portal yourself. Wizard? Alien?"
"Consultant," I said.
"Time to go," I said to Esdeath.
"Already?" She sheathed her sword. "I was just getting started."
"We have a date," I reminded her. "Remember? Real food. No aliens."
She smiled. A genuine smile. "I hold you to that."
We vanished in a beam of light just as Nick Fury's helicopter appeared over the horizon.
