James had implemented the bias mitigation protocols he'd designed with Dr. Asante, and they'd already proven valuable in catching a flagging error that would have unfairly targeted financial flows from a developing nation's legitimate infrastructure investment.
"The system worked exactly as designed," he reported during one of our regular family updates. "Flagged the error itself, through the secondary verification layer. No human had to catch it the architecture caught itself."
