Although the Dragon-class Monster Cell was massive by normal standards, it looked pitifully small before Demon Giant Oars, whose body towered at over sixty meters tall.
To Oars, it was no more than a mouthful of meat.
He swallowed it whole.
The very next instant, a scene unfolded that left everyone shaken.
Oars suddenly let out a roar of agony. His entire body tensed as bulging muscles swelled violently—and with a deafening crack, the countless thick iron chains restraining him were torn apart!
The energy contained within a Dragon-class Monster Cell was simply too overwhelming.
Even for a being as enormous as Oars, it was nearly unbearable.
Boom—!!
Driven mad by pain, Oars began swinging his arms wildly.
The underground prison collapsed instantly.
"So this is Oars…!"
Moria trembled with excitement. "The ultimate zombie I've been waiting for!"
Everyone hurriedly retreated, giving the raging giant enough space.
Oars threw back his head and roared at the sky.
The sheer force of the sound wave tore apart the dark clouds above.
Crack—crackle—!!
His brick-red skin began to split, multiply, and expand at a terrifying rate.
His body surged upward—seventy meters, eighty, ninety—
In the blink of an eye, he surpassed one hundred meters.
And he kept growing.
Moria was stunned, his body shaking uncontrollably with excitement.
This power far exceeded anything he had ever imagined.
All of it… came from Lord Luo Xing's Monster Cell.
Moria swallowed hard, his desire for a Monster Cell reaching unprecedented heights.
Last time, Luo Xing hadn't allowed him to take one—his strength back then simply wasn't enough to endure it.
But now?
After intense training, Moria was confident he had recovered much of his former power.
Once Oars' transformation ended, he would ask Luo Xing—no, beg—for a Monster Cell of his own.
"T-This is terrifying…!"
Perona hugged herself, her twin pink pigtails nearly standing on end.
"How can that purple lump turn Oars into something this monstrous—and this ugly?! I'd rather die than eat that thing!"
She stole a fearful glance at Luo Xing.
"T-That bad man… he wouldn't make me eat one, right…?"
Her face turned pale, then resolute.
"No! Even if it kills me, I won't eat it!"
The Ghost Princess put on quite the performance.
The Birth of the Strongest Giant
At last, Oars' transformation stabilized.
His skin turned from brick-red to a dark, forged crimson—like superheated steel.
His height reached an unfathomable two hundred meters, surpassing even San Juan Wolf, making him the tallest giant in the world.
"Incredible! Absolutely incredible!"
Moria shouted. "This is Demon Giant Oars—the strongest zombie in the world!"
Luo Xing remained calm.
"How strong he really is still needs testing," he said. "Jack—go see what he can do."
"Yes, Young Master!"
Jack stepped forward without a trace of fear—if anything, his expression was arrogant.
"Come on, big guy," he barked. "Let's see what you've got."
Oars lowered his massive head.
To him, Jack—over ten meters tall—looked no larger than an ant.
"ROAR—SHAVE!"
With a thunderous shout, Oars stomped the ground—
And vanished.
The spot he had stood on exploded into a crater over a hundred meters wide.
"Unbelievable…" Luo Xing murmured.
"Such speed, with that size."
Oars had just used Shave, one of the Six Powers, inherited from Rob Lucci's shadow.
Jack was shocked.
Even in his mammoth form, his speed couldn't compare.
Activating Observation Haki, Jack suddenly looked up.
A mountain-sized fist descended.
"FINGER PISTOL!"
The pressure alone flattened towering trees nearby.
Jack's pupils shrank.
Instinct told him to dodge—but pride won out.
"Who do you think I am? I'm Jack the Drought!"
He raised both arms to block.
BOOM—!!!
The entire Thriller Bark shook violently.
Jack was smashed straight into the ground.
Who's-Who swallowed.
Even Jack… was driven underground.
Crack!
The ground split open as Jack climbed back out, unharmed—but furious.
Being humiliated in front of Luo Xing was unacceptable.
"I'll make you pay!"
Jack launched a fierce counterattack.
His punches struck Oars' body, sparks flying like steel colliding with steel.
"MAMMOTH PUNCH!"
He poured everything into the blow.
Oars sensed the danger—but didn't dodge.
He lowered his stance, muscles tightening.
"IRON BODY!"
CLANG—!!!
The impact rang like a massive bell.
Jack's hands went numb from the recoil.
Oars staggered back, demolishing several buildings—but stayed upright.
A draw.
Neither had gone all out.
Luo Xing stopped the fight before it escalated further. Otherwise, Thriller Bark might not survive.
In his estimation, Demon Giant Oars had already surpassed the giant who appeared early in One Punch Man—a mere Demon-class threat with Dragon-level destruction.
With the boost of a Dragon-class Monster Cell, Oars had entered the realm of top-tier power, capable of clashing with Admirals—or even Yonko.
Oars' body + Lucci's shadow + Dragon-class Monster Cell = The strongest giant in history.
Luo Xing was extremely satisfied.
With Oars, his next objective would be much easier.
The Next Target: Sabaody Archipelago
Yes.
Luo Xing had decided to attack Sabaody Archipelago.
Not now.
But during the Summit War.
When the Navy and World Government were fully focused on Whitebeard—
He would command Thriller Bark, Moria's thousands of zombies, and Demon Giant Oars…
And strike Sabaody in a surprise assault.
A "gift" for Sengoku, the Five Elders—
And Imu.
Meanwhile… at Pangaea Castle
Imu already felt it.
Rage filled the heart of the ancient ruler.
Those spiral-patterned eyes burned as they stared down at the kneeling Five Elders.
"Useless," Imu thundered.
"I ordered you to kill Luo Xing—and you failed."
"I ordered you to seize the Ancient Weapons—and you let someone else claim them!"
The Five Elders trembled.
Before the world, they were supreme rulers.
Before Imu—they were nothing.
"Forgive us, Lord Imu!"
Imu's voice grew cold.
"How?"
One Elder hurriedly spoke:
"Though we failed to capture Luo Xing… we've seized someone of equal importance."
"Oh?"
Imu raised a brow. "Kaido?"
The Elders hesitated.
"…No.
It is Portgas D. Ace—son of Gol D. Roger."
Silence.
Then—
"D…" Imu whispered. "Another of the accursed lineage."
The D Clan—the enemies of the gods.
Imu issued the final decree:
"Publicly execute the Pirate King's son."
"Let the world tremble."
"Yes, Lord Imu."
As the Elders withdrew, relief filled their hearts.
Ace's capture had diverted Imu's wrath.
Blackbeard, who delivered him, would be rewarded.
If he wanted to be a Warlord—
Then let him be one.
