A sea-trench like that would probably take a very long time before it could "heal" naturally.
Splash—splash!
Countless chunks of rock and iron that Bullet had pulled into himself rained down from the sky.
That ten-thousand-meter behemoth quickly collapsed. With a thunderous crash, it plunged into the sea and threw up monstrous waves.
Luo Xing didn't even look at the waves.
He didn't look to confirm Bullet's condition either.
He simply turned and walked straight toward the Anywhere Door, speaking to Zoro and the other seven as he went.
"Let's go. We're heading to Sabaody."
The eight of them were still trapped in shock.
Zoro didn't need mentioning—his admiration for Luo Xing only deepened.
Enel, meanwhile, was downright afraid now. When Luo Xing's gaze casually swept over him, Enel's body trembled involuntarily.
Shiryu, cigar in mouth, finally put away the arrogance he once carried as Impel Down's former head jailer. When Luo Xing approached, he even lowered himself slightly in respect.
Even Jinbe—who once dared to speak of "a mere Yonko"—now carried genuine amazement in his eyes.
As for Pizarro, Devon, Vasco Shot, and Sanjuan Wolf—the four infamous criminals who should've joined Blackbeard in another story—
their expressions were filled with fear and reverence.
They had finally witnessed the true depth of their new master's power.
And they were secretly grateful they'd surrendered quickly.
Otherwise, their end would've matched Waldo's… Redfield's… or Bullet's—vanishing into the sea.
Yes.
Bullet was dead.
Luo Xing couldn't be bothered to confirm it, but the four newly recruited monsters couldn't ignore it.
They stared wide-eyed, and at last, among the falling rubble, they spotted what remained of Bullet's body.
Luo Xing stepped into the Anywhere Door first. The eight followed immediately after.
Then the door closed and vanished, leaving only the violently churning sea behind.
The great prison of Impel Down… was gone.
Only a few scattered ruins remained above the waterline.
When CP0, Chaton, and Momousagi finally arrived—
they couldn't find a single person.
They couldn't find a single intact structure.
The CP0 leader's face turned the color of liver.
The worst had happened.
Impel Down had been completely destroyed.
All the jailers—including Warden Magellan—were gone.
And those vicious prisoners…
either died, or had been taken as subordinates by the increasingly terrifying Fifth Emperor Luo Xing.
If news of this spread, no one could imagine the shockwaves it would cause across the world.
"We have to suppress this," the CP0 leader rasped. "We can't let the public know."
"You can't hide it," Momousagi replied, her voice crisp and clear. "Something this unprecedented cannot be covered up."
"Then hide it for as long as we can!"
"You won't even manage a day," Momousagi said, raising a finger toward the sky. "Look. There."
Only then did the CP0 leader notice—
Big News Morgans had appeared overhead at some point, circling like he'd been waiting for this exact moment.
"How is it that wherever there's a major incident, that damned bird is always there?!" the CP0 leader snarled.
Morgans heard him and immediately planted his wings on his hips, laughing loudly.
"Because this bird's nose for news is one-of-a-kind in the whole world!"
Killing intent surged in CP0's eyes.
Morgans instantly flapped his wings and flew farther away, shrieking as he retreated:
"The people of the world have the right to know! You World Government types can't treat everyone like blind idiots!"
Even so, Morgans felt a little uneasy inside.
If he truly offended the World Government too badly, his newspaper business would become a nightmare.
So he threw CP0 a "gift"—an intel tip.
"Instead of worrying about this bird, you should hurry to Sabaody Archipelago!"
"I just saw it—Fifth Emperor Luo Xing used a door they call an 'Anywhere Door' to send all those prisoners straight to Sabaody!"
The moment they heard that—
every CP0 member, along with Chaton and Momousagi, changed expression.
The CP0 leader practically exploded, roaring in fury:
"That bastard… he wants to use those prisoners to take Sabaody!"
Sabaody's strategic value was far too important—too close to Marine Headquarters and Mariejois.
The Five Elders and Sengoku would never allow Sabaody to fall into the Beasts Pirates' hands.
The CP0 leader's face sank like a storm cloud as he barked orders to turn the ship around immediately and rush for Sabaody.
He felt like he was being led around by the nose.
First they went to Sabaody and came up empty.
Then they rushed to Impel Down and saved nothing.
And now they had to race back to Sabaody again—
Wasn't this basically being toyed with like a monkey?!
Fifth Emperor Luo Xing… was simply going too far.
CP0 ground their teeth, furious but powerless.
With their strength, they couldn't do a thing to Luo Xing.
Momousagi, known as the strongest woman in the Navy today and a future candidate for the highest combat power, was sharp-minded.
She had already pieced together Luo Xing's sequence of moves.
First he appeared on Sabaody, luring the Marines and Government to chase him.
Then he turned and struck the real target—Impel Down.
And when the Government rushed reinforcements over…
he circled back to hit Sabaody again.
A classic feint.
A perfect misdirection.
He had played the Five Elders, Sengoku, and the entire upper leadership like spinning tops—turning them in circles.
Momousagi couldn't help feeling a sliver of admiration.
That man wasn't only a genius whose inventions surpassed even Vegapunk's…
His Haki was equally unmatched—
and even his planning was frighteningly precise.
Perfect, almost without flaw.
A pity he wasn't on the Navy's side.
Momousagi felt a rare trace of regret.
In the Navy and World Government, her pursuers were countless—yet she had never looked at any of them twice.
Today, the only man who truly stirred her curiosity…
was an enemy.
But she quickly straightened her mindset.
To become an Admiral candidate wasn't just about strength—she was cold and rational too.
Momousagi took out a Den Den Mushi.
She needed to report the destruction of Impel Down—and the imminent assault on Sabaody—to Supreme Commander Kong and Fleet Admiral Sengoku.
...
...
At the same time Momousagi prepared to call—
Luo Xing, now standing on Sabaody soil, made a call of his own.
He called Perona.
Moria had gone to the Summit War. On Thriller Bark, the one in charge now was Perona, Absalom, and the other officers.
"Hello? Who is it?!" a girl's sleepy, irritated voice came through the Den Den Mushi. "It's so early—can't people sleep?!"
Luo Xing glanced at the sun hanging high in the sky and fell silent.
Then he pulled out an Anywhere Door and gave quick instructions to Enel, Shiryu, and the others:
"Clear out all Marine presence on Sabaody—and any other factions' outposts as well."
"I'll be back soon."
With that, he stepped through the door without looking back.
In a blink, he arrived in a pink-themed room.
At the center stood a large round bed.
In the middle of it lay a pink-haired twin-tailed girl, sprawled in a messy sleeping posture. Her long, pale legs hugged a little teddy bear.
Still half-asleep, her small red lips faced the Den Den Mushi as she mumbled:
"Who is it… calling this early and not even talking… Hmph. So annoying…"
"Just like that bad guy… so annoying…"
As she spoke, she hung up and was about to roll over and continue sleeping.
Then, from the corner of her eye, she caught sight of a tall man's shadow approaching.
"Ah!!"
Perona shrieked. All her sleepiness vanished instantly.
She stammered, "L-Lord Luo Xing… why are you here?! I-I… you didn't hear what I just said, did you?!"
Luo Xing walked to the bedside and sat down, smiling.
"Unfortunately for you… I heard everything."
"As a subordinate, calling your superior a 'bad guy' means you deserve a lesson."
Perona shrank back into the corner of the bed, her eyes instantly misting over as she pleaded pitifully:
"D-don't… don't hit me… Waaah…! Lord Moria, save me…!"
Luo Xing reached out and lightly tugged one of her twin tails, his voice turning even gentler.
"Why would I hit you?"
"I'm someone who appreciates beautiful things. I wouldn't bear to hurt you."
"Come. Be good."
"Turn around… and face away from me."
He took hold of her twin tails—one in each hand.
Perona's slender body trembled.
But she didn't dare disobey…
