"No!" Nightmare was terrified of the TVA Reset Charges, letting out a horrified scream.
But it was bound tight by the Dreamqueen's painstaking seal—unable to move. The magic around it felt like it had sunk into a swamp, unable to circulate at all.
All it could do was watch as the three TVA Reset Charges detonated inches away.
Thick, unknown blue sludge burst outward from where the brass canisters landed, spreading at explosive speed.
Anything that blue sludge touched was "corrupted," transformed into the same substance—no exceptions, not even the intangible dream-matter of this dreamworld.
On the surface, the flow didn't seem especially fast, like a slow-moving river.
But that was only an illusion. Its true rate of expansion was far beyond what the naked eye could track.
Because it carried a horrifying power that twisted space and time—warping the normal order of spacetime itself, making its outward spread look slower than it really was.
In reality, the instant the charges went off, a massive portion of this dreamspace—vast enough to rival the solar system—was completely erased by that mysterious, terrifying force, reduced to absolute nothingness.
The Eye of Agamotto blazed with dazzling green light as it helped Harry activate the Time Stone, using time itself to isolate them from the chaotic spacetime power outside—power that could effortlessly annihilate anything.
The Dreamqueen covered her slightly parted lips, staring at the scene like she was watching demon gods clash inside a pocket universe. Then she turned to Harry and asked:
"Harry… where did you buy bombs like that? Can I get them too?"
Tony was just as curious. If he could understand how that kind of weapon worked, Earth could gain the power to protect itself.
Then even if something went wrong with Kamar-Taj, Earth could still handle most problems on its own.
Harry shook his head, shattering both of their fantasies.
"You're thinking too much. Those come from the Time Variance Authority. If you set one off in the physical world, it can erase a newly born timeline branch—meaning it can outright destroy a universe.
It strikes from the level of time. So as long as your 'rank' is lower than time itself, even a dimensional demon god can be hurt by it.
And because they're that powerful, TVA Reset Charges are extremely precious resources even across the multiverse.
Forget the price—most people can't even qualify to buy them.
Since they can injure dimensional demon gods, there's an unspoken rule: only beings at dimensional demon god tier—or above—are allowed to purchase them.
So even my mentor, the Sorcerer Supreme, doesn't qualify. I only got clearance after I caused chaos in the Hell Dimension twice.
And in normal combat, they're not that useful against dimensional demon gods anyway. The only reason they work now is because the Dreamqueen temporarily seized control of the Dream Dimension, and Nightmare is trapped in a state where the damage can actually stick."
Tony waved a hand, annoyed.
"Forget it. Sounds like that bomb isn't for me. Maybe I should just build something similar myself."
In Tony's old life, he'd always been the richest guy in the room.
But ever since meeting Harry, he'd come to understand—deeply—just how poor he really was.
On Earth, it was fine. Their wealth was basically the same: the kind that never ran out.
But after reaching Asgard, he realized most of their products were completely out of his price range.
Then they hit the Crossroads Dimension, and it got even worse—he became a full-on broke nobody.
And now, hearing the conditions and price of TVA Reset Charges… Tony's worldview finally cracked.
He decided that once he got back to Earth, he was going to invent a weapon that could rival a reset charge.
He was Tony Stark.
He didn't fall behind.
A little while later, the azure radiance blanketing the outside gradually faded, like a dazzling illusion finally ending.
The dreamworld had become a void—yet thanks to the endless dream power continuously produced by countless intelligent beings across the multiverse, it began repairing itself at an astonishing speed.
Before dropping their protection, Harry sent Tony back to the real world.
The shattered dreamspace was harsher than hard vacuum—Tony couldn't survive there.
Then Harry and the Dreamqueen returned into the broken dreamspace and arrived at the blast center.
They searched for any trace of Nightmare.
They found nothing.
All signs pointed to the same conclusion: Nightmare really had been completely erased by the cataclysmic detonation of three TVA Reset Charges—reduced to dust scattered across existence.
After a few dozen seconds, the Dreamqueen still didn't sense Nightmare returning to fight her for control of the Dream Dimension. She let out a long breath, relief flooding her face.
"Looks like Nightmare is really dead. Harry, I'll never forget what you did for me. Kamar-Taj of your universe will forever be a friend to the Dream Dimension!"
Seeing her celebrate while the fight clearly wasn't over yet, Harry rolled his eyes and snapped back:
"What are you happy about? Nightmare isn't dead."
"What?" The Dreamqueen went pale. She searched frantically—but no matter what she did, she couldn't locate Nightmare's position.
Harry remained calm. He slowly turned his head, looking into a stretch of spacetime that seemed completely empty, and spoke with cool certainty:
"Nightmare. Stop hiding. You really think I can't find you?"
Harry possessed a primordial chaos source. Under its influence, his observation runes had been elevated into something absurdly powerful.
They didn't just perceive the world in front of him—they could peer into hidden corners of other worlds as well.
So spotting Nightmare concealed inside twisted spacetime was effortless.
Having his exact location exposed, Nightmare's expression changed sharply. Realizing Harry wasn't bluffing, it stepped out with a storm-dark face and said coldly:
"I wanted to be thorough. I was going to wait until you left, then take back control of the Dream Dimension and torment that treacherous woman for betraying me.
I didn't expect you to be able to find me.
But so what? The Dreamqueen can only control me for a few seconds. A full minute has passed.
You no longer have any chance of killing me."
Hearing that, the Dreamqueen's face filled with terror.
Nightmare was right. Her seal could only restrain him for seconds. Now he could reestablish his link to the Dream Dimension and wrestle control back from her.
And even wounded, Nightmare was still the true master of the Dream Dimension. The Dreamqueen only carried his bloodline. She had authority too—but nowhere near his.
So Nightmare would reclaim control quickly.
And once he did…
Just imagining what came next made the Dreamqueen want to end herself on the spot.
But she was stubborn to the core. She refused to give up on survival. With tears pooling in her eyes, she looked to Harry—hoping he had a way out of this.
After all, he was the Chaos Controller known across the multiverse.
When the Dreamqueen looked at Harry, she froze.
In a situation like this, he wasn't panicking at all.
He was mocking Nightmare.
At the same time, Nightmare suddenly roared in pure despair:
"No—this is impossible! How could the Dreamqueen's sealing magic restrict me for a full minute?!"
The Dreamqueen was equally shocked—then overwhelmed by the joy of narrowly escaping death.
She didn't know what had happened, but one thing was obvious:
Harry did it.
Harry pointed at the Eye of Agamotto on his chest and grinned.
"Standing in front of the Time Stone and still believing in 'fixed time'—that's impressive, Nightmare.
You've been stuck in the Dream Dimension so long your brain's completely fried."
Nightmare tried to speak again—only to see Harry pull out yet another TVA Reset Charge.
Nightmare's face twisted with fear. It tried to flee farther away.
It didn't matter.
In an instant, it was completely erased by the chaotic spacetime unleashed by the reset charge.
Harry already knew what Nightmare wanted to say: with its level of power, it could partially resist the might of time.
But what it didn't know was that with the Time Stone in play, Harry could reinforce time's effect with chaos magic.
And Harry's chaos magic existed on a far higher tier than Nightmare.
So the moment the two touched, Nightmare lost the ability to resist time altogether.
…
With Nightmare dead, the Dreamqueen—helped by Harry—successfully took over the Dream Dimension.
However, as a newly ascended dimensional demon god, her control over the Dream Dimension was far inferior to Nightmare's former grasp.
It would take a long period of adjustment before she could restore the Dream Dimension to its previous strength.
After becoming a dimensional demon god, the Dreamqueen kept her promise. She returned the Earth souls Nightmare had forcibly dragged into the Dream Dimension—sending them back one by one.
Among them was the President.
As the souls returned to their bodies, order in the real world gradually stabilized as well.
Harry returned to reality and continued his research. With the exception of a very small handful of people, no one knew that he'd killed a dimensional demon god not long ago.
And in Harry's mind, something mattered even more than slaying a demon god.
By analyzing Nightmare's dream power—and by unexpectedly discovering a dark spell called Dreamwalking—he finally found a potential method that could let him travel between worlds.
Of course, while Harry buried himself in studying Dreamwalking magic that could function across different worlds, the news of the Dream Dimension's demon god being replaced—and Nightmare's death—set off a massive shockwave across the multiverse.
The first to learn of it, naturally, was Kamar-Taj's "good neighbor"…
Asgard, the homeland of Thor.
Inside Asgard's royal palace, Odin abruptly awakened from the Odinsleep, sat bolt upright, and looked toward Earth…
